Om mig

Vi som arbetar som psykoterapeuter har en gedigen utbildning. Först en akademisk grundexamen (t.ex. psykolog, socionom, präst, sjuksköterska), därpå en psykoterapeutisk tvåårig grundutbildning (tidigare kallad steg 1, den ingår i psykologutbildningen), flerårig egen terapi, praktiskt terapiarbete under handledning i minst två år och därefter en treårig påbyggnadsutbildning (steg 2) innan vi kan bli legitimerade psykoterapeuter. Legitimationen utfärdas av Socialstyrelsen och skall garantera att psykoterapeuter över hela landet har samma kvalifikationer.

För egen del är jag socionom och legitimerad psykoterapeut. Jag är medlem i Psykoterapicentrum, som är en intresseorganisation för en stor del av landets legitimerade psykoterapeuter med psykodynamisk inriktning.

Under många år har jag haft mottagning i Stockholm och Enköping, men de senare åren koncentrerat verksamheten till min mottagning i Sala.

Jag arbetar med individuella psykoterapier och parterapier som inte är tidsbestämda, men även med korttidsterapier och kris- och stödsamtal med mer kognitiv inriktning.
